Dear visitor, welcome on My webpage. My name is Kalman Tarsoly. On this website I would like to show You my car models. All of the models 100% custom built, which means, there is no any factory made parts used during the construction. All of the components made from raw materials and designed by a 3D application by me based on available images of the real car.
3D graphics
In My case this hobby started with 3D graphics many years ago. My favorite tool to create 3D objects and images is an open source application, it's name Blender. My main subject were old classic cars. In this list You can see some of My 3D creations, which are just images, not phisically existing models. A few years ago the 3D printers became more and more affordable and thanks to this, at last now it is possible to make real models from the virtual 3D objects. Of course, because the inperfection and the limit of the tiny details in the case of plastic based printers, there are a lot of different parts and details, which needs to be created by hand.
Categories by materials
The models I make can be divided into 3 different groups according to the materials used during their construction: plastic, resin, tinplate.
Typically, the dimensions are 1/43 for resin, 1/32 for plastic, and 1/24 for metal.
